The Gate to Eternity
I knew this Sea Cave was a must shot for me but wasn’t sure if a high tide would ruin my vision. The tide was even better than I had expected. In my mind the shot had to represent a sacred gate that leads to anywhere you want it to. By slowing down my shutter speed on my camera, it allowed me to create the misty entrance to The Gate To Eternity. To see more view here
The Lost Shore

Nature’s Spa
Scott Papek Presents “Nature’s Spa”
Nature’s Spa was captured in Oregon.
This is the first of three significant waterfalls on Butte Creek accessible along the Butte Creek Falls trail system. The Upper falls drop over a wide, uniform and extremely undercut ledge into a large pool below. I remember standing there thinking this is what Zen is. All alone, peaceful, relaxing and the soundtrack of flowing water. Hopefully you can feel the zen with this image.
Crystalized
Well, it was cold. This lonely tree was completely frozen over around Nebraska City. For more info view here
The Gatekeeper
The City of Cannon Beach is located on the Pacific Northwest Coast of Oregon, 80 miles west of Portland and 25 miles south of Astoria. Cannon Beach is surrounded by the rugged natural beauty of forests, ocean beaches, rivers, and the Oregon Coast Mountain range. The clouds looked like they were formed with a paint brush so it inspired me to treat this shot like a painting. Waiting patiently for the perfect wave to push the water up the shoreline, I slowed down my camera speed to get the smooth effect. I love everything about this shot from the proud boulder to the smooth ocean; but the subtle color along the shoreline blows my mind. To view more info on The Gatekeeper visit here
Road to Paradise
Nestled in the small cove protected by San Simeon Point, and somewhat out of sight of the cars passing nearby on Highway 1, this pier is located in the William R. Hearst Memorial State Beach. I can still recall the perfect morning breeze with the small scent of salt. The Road to Paradise is a Limited Edition print of only 300 images. To view more click here
