The Right Road
SCOTT PAPEK PRESENTS “THE RIGHT ROAD”
During my 10 day pacific northwest photo I covered the western part of Oregon and Washington. Lake Quinault is on the south from the heart of Olympic National Park. My brother was in the area 2 weeks prior and talked me into stopping here to check it out. I ended up staying at the brilliant Lake Quinault lodge and had the best salmon in my life at the “Salmon House” right down the road. When my kids get older I can see a family vacation destination for us. “The Right Road” is a limited edition of only 300 gallery prints and looks best at 40 x 40 with the Aluma museum mount. Visit HERE for more details.

All artists are self-taught
Techniques and skill and even a point of view are often handed down, formally or not. It’s easier to get started if you’re taught, of course.
But art, the new, the ability to connect the dots and to make an impact–sooner or later, that can only come from one who creates, not from a teacher and not from a book. “Seth Godin”
New Beginning

“New Beginning” was captured right out of Custer National Forest in Montana.
The Man above blessed me with an ubelievable painting in the sky. “New Beginning” is a limited edition print of only 10. 911

I have learned so many things in the last 4 years selling my art in galleries and art shows.
1. Have an open mind.
2. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
3. Don’t ever think you have it figured out.
4. Always try to better people’s lives.
I have not sold a 911 image in 2 years until yesterday. 911 was shot on 9/11/09 in La Jolla, California.

Crystal Pier

This pier isn’t one of the largest, one of the most modern, or one of the most convenient piers in California, but it is one of the top piers in the state with San Diegans and tourist. Crystal Pier is a wooden pier, 872 feet long, located at the end of Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach.
