The City of Cannon Beach is located on the Pacific Northwest Coast of Oregon, 80 miles west of Portland and 25 miles south of Astoria. Cannon Beach is surrounded by the rugged natural beauty of forests, ocean beaches, rivers, and the Oregon Coast Mountain range.  The clouds looked like they were formed with a paint brush so it inspired me to treat this shot like a painting.  Waiting patiently for the perfect wave to push the water up the shoreline, I slowed down my camera speed to get the smooth effect.  I love everything about this shot from the proud boulder to the smooth ocean; but the subtle color along the shoreline blows my mind. The Perfect Moment

Have you ever experienced the perfect moment? The perfect moment for me is when everything around you is working in such a way that it might never happen again. I know when the perfect moment is surrounding me because the goose bumps appear and I hope it never ends. The light, the color, the reflection, the breeze, the smell and sound.
