Creating an experience with art

artinoffice

It’s inspiring to see brands and companies who care about creating a visual experience for the customers. Let’s be honest it’s not awesome to go to urgent care. Rockbrook Urgent Care in Omaha acknowledges that and took the extra step to hang art in each of their medical rooms with the goal to create a better experience for the patient. http://rockbrookurgentcareomaha.com. Gateway

Gateway

La Jolla’s Temple (pronounced La Hoya) was my very first shot. It is the single reason I’ve dedicated my life to capturing beauty and remains my number one seller among collectors. A morning low tide in 2008 offered a rare opportunity to go where few have gone presenting this timeless composition. Just minutes later “Gateway” emerged with similar serendipity. “Gateway is a Limited Edition of only 50 prints and can be viewed here

Paradise in the Rockies

Bear Lake

Bear Lake contains abundant suspended microscopic particles of white-colored calcium carbonate (lime) that reflect the water’s natural blue color back to the surface, giving the lake its intense turquoise-blue color. This color is why Bear Lake is know as the “Caribbean of the Rockies.” These particles of calcium carbonate are mainly derived from the abundant limestone of the Bear River Range. La Jolla Point

La Jolla Hangout

Scott Papek Fine Art releases, “La Jolla Point”

San Diego California. Limited edition of 300.

La Jolla (pronounced La Hoya) is my favorite place to shoot holding my attention along a few miles of coastline for four years. As my training grounds, this atmosphere became the savior to my soul inspiring my transition from 15 years in the music industry. You would think shooting in a specific area for so long would amount to a portfolio of images. Less than 20 emerged as I learned to balance the spirit of this majestic yet powerful coastline with patience toward perfection. I am not referring to technical perfection, rather a perfect representation of the true and enduring spirit of this American surf for you to enjoy for a lifetime. For more info please click here.

The Kiss

The kiss

The ocean is a moving canvas. I’ve shot so many waves but could never get everything to work together. But with persistence, and use failure as motivation, you get up the next day and do it again until it’s captured correctly. To learn more about “The Kiss” click here

Fall’s Hue

Fall Hues

Look at all the colors! In my 8 years of shooting there has never been an opportunity like this. Like a painter mixing and re-mixing her pallet I knew one shot would do no justice! The smile on my face grew as each of the next five shots were captured with nothing more than my camera on a tripod. Presented as one, this image is a whopping 60 megapixels capable of being printed 10 feet wide and destined to leave a lasting impression above any couch!

Fall’s Hue is a limited edition panoramic of only 300 prints destined to appreciate. To learn more please click here.
