Carmel Mission

The Mission at Carmel was founded by Father Junípero Serra in 1770 as the second of Spain’s California missions. The original church here was built of adobe and was replaced with the current structure in 1797. This mission was known as Father Serra’s favorite in California, and he is buried at the altar.

Docking at Dusk

Tomorrow from 10:00am to 3:00p at the Hot Shops Art Center we’ll be selling smaller prints from 8 x 12’s to 12 x 18’s. If you’ve been following me for a while you know this doesn’t happen very often.

“Docking at Dusk” was taken in 2009 in the Coronado Bay on a brilliant evening.
