America's Finest Evening

San Diego, California

I’m so attached to “America’s Finest Evening”. I taught myself how to create art with a camera right here. I failed over and over but for me it’s the best way to learn. How bad can it really be when your photographing the ocean? On this particular evening I sat in my car debating whether to even take out my camera gear as it was raining. For some reason something told me to pull the rain gear out and give it a shot. As the storm broke the sky opened up to me with these beautiful reds and yellows. It’s rare to see these colors on west coast.
