Everybody thinks "Up" was shot in the south. I've always said California is a country within a state. You can find whatever you want in California. The only reason "Up"became a gallery image is because I had crappy weather for 10 days. Low visibility, fog and rain pretty much killed all of my plans. I was getting desperate to get a shot so i went into hunting mode. I spent hours trying to get the right composition but was failing miserably with these amazing moss trees. It was until I sat down to take a break and regroup to realize all I had to do was look up.
